A geometric ornament is certainly rare in Nain carpets. Even more rare is the decoration of this magnificent shish-là that recalls the elaborate combinations of the tiles that decorate mosques and palaces throughout the Orient.
Geometric patterns are particularly popular in the Islamic arts given the tendency to avoid the representation of the human figure. As for the arabesques, this use has favored the development of combinations of geometric figures without equal, with a great variety of complex and intricate patterns.
The traditional elegant color palette of Nain carpets makes this artefact in precious kork wool and pure silk, suitable for any type of interiors, particularly contemporary and design ones.
Handknotted signature into the border frames of the short side.
